What Por mis pistolas Is About
Fidencio, an apothecary in northern Mexico, comes into an old deed showing he has a claim to a mine in Arizona and decides to cross the border. On the way he falls into the hands of the Apache and escapes being burned at the last moment by offering to cure the chief's toothache. This is one of the films in which Cantinflas enters the western format and, as ever, dismantles it by talking. The summary on our record has been through machine translation and is close to unreadable. A warning: the depiction of Native people is broad caricature belonging to sixties Mexican comedy and is uncomfortable now.
