What Soy un prófugo Is About
A man working as a janitor in a large bank is taken for the author of a major robbery there. He becomes a fugitive and sets out to find the real thieves himself in order to clear his name. The setup is ideal for Cantinflas, because his real trick is not the chase but talking his way at every policeman, official and criminal he meets until the situation becomes even less resolvable. The forties were his most productive period. Miguel M. Delgado, who directed him for decades, is behind the camera again.
