What That Funny Feeling Is About
Joan Howell cleans houses for a living and starts seeing Tom Milford, a well off New York businessman. Embarrassed by the small flat she shares with a roommate, she brings him instead to an elegant apartment she cleans every day, not knowing it is his. Tom plays along without knowing who she really is, while she tidies up the place without knowing it is her own job. Richard Thorpe's 1965 comedy keeps the double misunderstanding running to the end. Sandra Dee and Bobby Darin lead, with Donald O'Connor in support. A characteristic piece of light sixties American romantic comedy.
